How is the procedure performed?
Microdermabrasion is generally used on the face, neck, and chest and arms. More rarely on the knees, hands and elbows. After cleansing your treatment area, our Aesthetician at Eterna M.D., will use a jet sterile micro-crystals to gently exfoliate your skin. No anesthesia is required. Then our Aesthetician will adjust the pressure for your skin and move the the Microdermabrasion machine’s hand piece across the treatment area to deliver a precise stream of crystals onto the skin’s surface; the scale-like, lifeless epidermal cells and the crystals are then suctiones back into the same hand piece to reveal a fresh invigorated skin surface. Once the treatment completed our Aesthetician might choose to do one of several different type of chemicals peel depending on your skin condition.
